Stress Control Program

Avoid and Treat Burnout

More and more people feel that daily occupations at home and work overwhelm them. They feel stressed. However, it is important to pay attention to your body’s signals because, little by little, this accumulation of stress creates the so-called chronic fatigue syndrome or burnout.

It is essential for well-being to control excessive stress because it gradually drains your physical, emotional, and cognitive energy.

It is clear that stress is part of our lives, and we must learn to manage and control it. However, fatigue is a warning sign which should not be ignored. In general, chronic fatigue syndrome is defined as a permanent state of fatigue and demotivation; when this syndrome occurs, help is urgently needed. The patient feels burned out and has no energy or concentration. Furthermore, he or she may suffer from sleepiness and listlessness.

Burnout syndrome is a physical and psychological response to a state of continuous stress that depletes body resources and the ability to regulate energy. The main objective of our Stress Control Program is to prevent and treat burnout. This program considers the patient holistically on all levels: physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. Included therapies are physiotherapy, mental coaching, and yoga, among others. For each patient, specific vitamin and mineral deficiencies are diagnosed and treated to balance body energy, normalize metabolism and mitochondrial activity, and achieve greater resistance to stress.
