Andreas Bothe
Andreas Bothe is not only known as the owner of the practice 'Zahnärzte im Kaisersaal' but also for his profound and holistic approach to dentistry. In 1991, he received his dental license and spent the initial years working with Dr. Reuter on Uhlandstraße, Berlin. His constant endeavor to develop in his field was evident in his efforts to attend advanced training and continuing education almost every week. Particularly noteworthy was his early focus on holistic dentistry. In 1996, he successfully completed his diploma at the ANZ Academy of Naturopathy in Dentistry.
However, Bothe's interest extended far beyond traditional methods. He was fascinated by the combination of holistic dentistry with innovative approaches. This is reflected in his membership in the German Society for Computer-Assisted Dentistry e.V. (DGCZ). There, in 2000, he learned the Cerec method according to Prof. Dr. Dr. W. Möhrmann and implemented it in his practice.
Additionally, in 2006, he acquired the qualification of a laser protection officer at the RWTH Aachen and integrated laser dentistry into his practice.
In 2007, Bothe was among the first dentists in Germany to be certified in Invisalign. The following year, he was certified for the DIR system, and in 2014-2015, he successfully completed a curriculum in functional diagnostics-therapy-prosthetics.
When the opportunity arose to move into the Kaisersaal in the Cumberland House, he did not hesitate. He revitalized the historic building and his efforts were rewarded in 2014 with the prize for 'Germany's Most Beautiful Dental Practice.' Andreas Bothe's journey is a testament to passion, innovation, and commitment in dentistry.
In his own digital laboratory, Andreas Bothe has a digital 3D milling machine from the market leader Zirkonzahn with 8 automatic changing tools, which can process various types of dental prosthetic materials. Thanks to a 360° rotatable workpiece table and the 5+1 processing axes, very precise milling of dental technical workpieces is achieved.
Based on the digital file, the dentist and dental technician enter the planned dimensions and start the milling or 3D printing process to create a highly precise and aesthetically pleasing dental prosthesis.
Andreas Bothe also uses Digital Smile Design (DSD) in his practice, an excellent software that allows patients to preview the results of their dental treatment. This enables them to see in advance how the dental treatment will change their teeth, smile, and face. His practice has been a DSD clinic since 2020 and is the only one in Berlin.
