Privacy policy

Thank you for being interested in our website. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. In the following, we would like to inform you about the handling of your data.

We collect and use personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our contents and services.

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (for example, name, address, or e-mail addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done, as far as possible, voluntarily.  An exception applies if prior consent is not feasible for factual reasons and legal regulations permit the data processing.

Within the legal regulations, we are entitled to commission other companies and persons to perform tasks on our behalf. To fulfill this, the disclosure of personal data may be necessary.

Personal data is only passed on to third parties based on legal permits and within legal regulations.

We only disclose user data to third parties, if necessary, based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for contractual purposes, or if we use services within the scope of our legitimate interests, Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Insofar as we commission third parties to process data within a so-called order processing agreement, this is done based on Art. 28 GDPR. If we use the services of third parties, we take appropriate legal precautions as well as technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data following the relevant legal requirements.

It may involve transferring personal data to servers outside the EU or to trusted third parties that have their servers outside the EU. You should be aware that many countries do not offer the same legal protections for personal information that we enjoy in the EU. While your personal information is located in another country, courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities may access it following the country’s laws. Subject to your express consent contractually or legally, we only process your personal data outside the EU only with third countries that have a recognized level of data protection, contractual obligations through so-called standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission, in the presence of certifications or binding internal data protection regulations (Art. 44 – 49 GDPR).

Use of Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files stored on your Internet browser or by the Internet browser on your computer system.

A cookie may be stored in your operating system as soon as you visit a website. This cookie contains a characteristic string of characters that enables the Internet browser to identify you when you return to the website.

We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. However, some website elements require that the browser making the request can be identified even after a page change.

The data collected in this way are pseudonymized by technical precautions. Therefore, an assignment of the calling user’s data is not possible. This data and the user’s personal data are not stored. Also, no user profiles are created.

Furthermore, we use analytical cookies to optimize our user’s website experience. These analytical cookies provide us with insights into how our website is used. We ask for your permission to set analytical cookies. Marketing/tracking cookies require other forms of local storage. They create user profiles to display advertisements or track users on our website or across multiple websites for similar marketing purposes.

The legal basis for the use of cookies is subject to your consent, according to Art. 6 Para. 1 p.1, lit. a GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 p.1, lit. f GDPR. Their purpose is to simplify our website performance, analyze and optimize our offering.

  • E-Mail
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Address

In addition, the following data will be collected when contacting us:

  • Time of the request
  • Content of the message

The data will be used exclusively for processing the correspondence. A transfer of your personal data to third parties is excluded.

The legal basis for processing and storing your personal data in this context is Art. 6 para. 1 p.1, lit. f GDPR. If the purpose of contacting you is to conclude a contract, the additional legal basis for processing your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 p.1, lit. b GDPR. The purpose is to process the contact. The legitimate interest follows from this purpose.

The other personal data processed during the sending process serve to prevent misuse and to ensure the security of our information technology system.

Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, for example, when your request has been conclusively resolved.

The additional data collected during the sending process will be deleted after 24 months.

Appointment Request Form

If you contact us via our appointment request form, the personal data you provide will be stored by us to process your request or query. It involves the following data:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • E-mail

The data will be used exclusively for processing your request and will not be passed on without your consent.

The legal basis for processing and storing your given personal data in the request form is Art. 6 para. 1 p.1, lit. f GDPR. If the processing and storage of your personal data are intended to conclude a contract, the further legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p.1, lit. b GDPR. The purpose of the processing is to handle the contact information given in the appointment form. The legitimate interest also follows from this purpose.

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. In this case, the appointment usually leads to the conclusion of a treatment contract. In this regard, all personal data is initially stored, taking into account retention periods under tax and commercial law, and then deleted after the expiration deadline unless you have consented to further processing and use.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g., when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. The use of the contact data published on the legal notice page by third parties to send unsolicited advertising messages is hereby expressly prohibited. The website operators explicitly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam mails.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4 Ireland (“Google”), parent company: Google LLC., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, Califonia 94043.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your website use, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

Subject to your consent, we also have a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize our website and advertising. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your website use, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

The following information may be collected:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of the page request
  • Referrer URL (the website that you visited previously)
  • Location data
  • Information about your browser and computer system
  • Visited pages

In doing so, Google uses so-called “cookies,” text files stored on your computer, and enables an analysis of your website use. The information generated by the cookie is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

In this context, the website operator has implemented a so-called Cookie Consent Banner. In this respect, no personal data is initially transmitted to Google when you visit the website. The moment you click on the banner and activate the use of cookies, a connection to the Google servers is established. In doing so, Google receives the information you have called upon the respective sub-page of our website.

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. However, this means that your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google will not be merged with other data from Google.

Google stores your data as user profiles and uses them for advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such evaluation is carried out, even for logged-in users, to provide needs-based advertising and inform other users about their activities on our website.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p.1, lit. a GDPR. You have the right to object to creating these user profiles (opt-out), whereby you must contact Google directly to exercise this right.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Please refer to Google’s privacy policy for more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de ).

There you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and setting options.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6 para. 1 p.1, lit. a GDPR.

Your personal data will be deleted after 14 months and or anonymized.

We have concluded a so-called “Data Processing Agreement” with Google, in which we oblige Google to protect our users’ data and not to pass it on to third parties.

Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking

Google Ads

This website uses Google Ads. Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4 Ireland (“Google”), parent company: Google LLC. of Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, Califonia 94043.

Within the scope of Google Ads, we use so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking.

Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to identify the user personally. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across Ads on customers’ websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie creates conversion statistics for Ads for customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Clients learn the number of users who clicked on your ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, you will not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of “conversion cookies” and this tracking tool are based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize its web offering and advertising.

More information on Google Ads and Google conversion tracking can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

You can set your browser to be informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you disable cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager. A service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4 Ireland (“Google”), parent company: Google LLC., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, Califonia 94043.

Google Tag Manager allows marketers to manage website tags through one interface. However, the Tag Manager itself, which deploys the tags, works without cookies and does not collect any personal data. The Tag Manager merely ensures that other tags are triggered, which may collect data. Corresponding explanations can be found in this privacy policy for these third-party providers. However, Google Tag Manager does not use this data. If you have set or otherwise deactivated cookies, this will be observed for all tracking tags used with the Google Tag Manager, so the tool does not change your cookie settings.

Google may ask you for permission to share some product data (for example, your account information) with other Google products to enable certain features, such as making it easier to add new conversion tracking tags for Ads. In addition, Google developers review product usage information from time to time to further optimize the product. However, Google will never share data of this nature with other Google products without your consent.

Please see Google’s usage policy and Google’s privacy notice for this product for more information.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p.1, lit.f GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and financial operation.

Ströer Campaign Tracking

We use the advertising services of RegioHelden GmbH, a company of Ströer Media Deutschland GmbH. RegioHelden collects certain information related to our interactions with you. RegioHelden provides us with aggregate information that we use following our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Call tracking

Any phone number provided on our website may be a call-tracking number. The call date, call time, call acceptance, call duration, and phone numbers of both parties are recorded, stored, and forwarded to RegioHelden GmbH and us to determine our advertising effectiveness. Unique phone numbers given to individual customers and used in ads are not linked to tracking users’ usage behavior. Still, they depend only on specific or several keywords used in the search.

Contact form

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations until the revocation remains unaffected.

The contact form called up individually is not tied to tracking the user’s usage behavior in each case. Still, it only depends on specific or several keywords used in the search.

If the user fills out the contact form, he must give his explicit and voluntary consent using opt-in before his data is sent and thus before any data processing begins. The data provided in the contact form will be transmitted to the responsible party with the source.

Server log files

RegioHelden automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to RegioHelden. These are:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • The hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. RegioHelden has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.

You have the following rights concerning us regarding the personal data concerning you:

  • Right to Information
  • Right of Access
  • Right to Rectification
  • Right to Erasure
  • Right to Restriction of Processing
  • Right to Data Portability
  • Right to Object
  • Right to Avoid Automated Decision-Making

In addition, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.
