Veneers for a flawless smile

Ceramic Veneers For Perfect Teeth

Cosmetic dentistry aims to achieve a beautiful smile. Thanks to ceramic dental veneers, it is possible to repair the appearance of discolored, chipped, stained or misaligned teeth.

Dental veneers are ultra-thin layers bonded with an adhesive to the tooth surfaces. They also allow esthetic dental restorations to be made without surgery. Veneers are bonded to the teeth precisely up to the gum line, making the corrected teeth look as if they have grown in naturally.

What are the advantages of veneers?

  • Long service life
  • Stable and resistant
  • Natural appearance
  • Translucent
  • Soft and tissue friendly
  • Adapted perfectly to front and canine teeth

The fine texture of custom-made ceramic veneers makes the treated teeth look more natural. In addition, very little tooth enamel is removed. In comparison, up to 1.8 millimeters of dental enamel is cut for a crown, whereas only a thin layer of max. 0.7 millimeters is removed with a veneer. However, tooth sensitivity may occur in individual cases. Talk to your dentist if that happens in your case.

Custom-made veneers

Ceramic veneers in our dental practice are custom-made to fit your smile and face. First, we analyze your facial proportions, tooth color, tooth shape, gum color, gum line, and lips. Then we model the wax veneers.

The dental technician makes plastic veneers from these wax models for you to try on, the so-called mock-ups. You can see the possible final result in advance and directly experience the esthetic changes with them. During the fitting, we check each veneer, and the dental technician will optimize them if necessary.

The dental technician then fabricates your permanent ceramic veneers. Before the dental veneers are placed, we perform a dental cleaning, and finally, we adhesively attach them to your teeth with a precise procedure during a 30-minute appointment.

Care Tips:

Caring for veneers is no different from caring for your natural teeth. Brush your teeth as usual and use mouthwash regularly. If you grind your teeth, a bite splint can give you relief at night and, at the same time, protect the ceramic layer of the veneers.
