Infusion Therapy, Oxyven, and Laboratory Tests

Infusion therapy, Oxyven therapy, and diagnostics also in our dental practice.

What is infusion therapy?

Infusion therapy is traditionally used in medicine for the intravenous administration of drugs. In addition, this type of therapy can be used for the intravenous administration of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, or homeopathic preparations.

In naturopathy and alternative medicine, infusion therapy is used for preventive purposes and to support and promote the immune system.

How does Vitamin IV Therapy work?

With infusion therapy, various vital substances are injected intravenously into the bloodstream. This therapy effectively supplies the body with micronutrients such as vitamins, minerals, and trace elements essential for many cellular and organ functions.

Personalized therapy

The vital substances administered during infusion therapy depend on the existing ailments, deficiencies, and symptoms. It is possible to perform specific laboratory tests to determine deficiencies of particular nutrients.

Infusions containing different types of vitamins (e.g., vitamin C or B vitamins), minerals (e.g., magnesium, potassium, or zinc), and/or antioxidants (e.g., glutathione) can be prepared.

The duration and frequency of infusion therapy depend on the individual health condition and the practitioner’s diagnosis.

Infusion therapy can provide several health and wellness benefits, including:

  • Increasing energy levels
  • Treating certain nutrient deficiencies
  • Reducing stress
  • Promoting resistance to disease
  • Relieving fatigue
  • Boost immunity

Each patient is different, and the vital substances selected to be injected intravenously depend on the person’s health condition and nutritional deficiencies.

Oxyven therapy: intravenous oxygen infusion

Oxyven therapy consists of an intravenous infusion of pure oxygen. This therapy was developed by the German physician H. Regelsberger in 1962. Today it is widely used in medicine and naturopathy.

One should not make the mistake of comparing air with oxygen. Of course, injecting air would be dangerous, but it is not the same as injecting pure medical oxygen.

Oxygen injected into the bloodstream dissolves and makes the blood more fluid, improving circulation and heart health.

Advantages of intravenous oxygen therapy

  • It helps relieve some circulatory issues caused by poor oxygenation.
  • It promotes cell metabolism.
  • It improves oxygen transport, and the patient feels more vital.

Laboratory tests for holistic diagnostics

To better diagnose the type of vital nutrients the patient needs, we offer several laboratory tests to determine the needs:

  • Mitochondrial diagnostics (mitochondrial activity and ATP energy production).
  • Whole blood mineral analysis
  • Vitamin deficiencies
  • Amino acid & mineral status
  • Heavy metal toxicity blood tests
  • Food intolerance & allergy tests
  • Hormone testing
  • Kidney and liver function tests
